It's a strange phenomenon, but FB is a very valuable resource when you're actually walking on the camino. Pilgrims post news and information that may affect you - weather, amazing opportunities, closures, etc. You'll also make friends from all over the world, and FB is the common denominator. When walking, I'll stop and post where I am and within minutes, my table is full of friends.
